- You will have a chance to meet the staff.

Family and Guest Information Session
- You will be greeted by Commonwealth College staff and introduced to the opportunities that Commonwealth College has to offer including scholarships, fellowships, programs, and Community Service Learning.
- At this time your student will join a small group of other Commonwealth College students to learn more about registration and housing options, and to sign the Commonwealth College contract

- You are invited to stay for a parent question/answer session with one of the Commonwealth College staff members and a student.

Family and Guest Reception
- Following the Question and Answer Session, you are invited to join us for an informal reception
- Relax and have some refreshments, meet other Commonwealth College parents and staff members.

Meet your student
- The Commonwealth College Summer Welcome Program concludes. You will meet up with your student at the reception site. At this point, you will check your son/daughter into his/her New Students Orientation Residence Hall. The UMass Amherst New Students Program Parent and Family Orientation begin at this time.
