As the UMass website will tell you, as part of the larger University community, you can "take your pick" of athletic events: "The Minutemen and Minutewomen compete in 23 sports at the NCAA Division I level. Find home court advantage at the Mullins Center, the biggest arena in Hockey East, also home to men’s and women’s basketball. And don’t forget to catch the crowd-pleasing Minuteman Marching Band at halftime and postgame down at McGuirk Alumni Stadium."

Or if you'd rather compete on the field than watch from the sidelines, campus recreation and sport clubs offer intramural and interscholastic men’s, women’s, and coed teams in everything from bicycle racing to fencing to rugby.
