STUDENT PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED
Commonwealth College is seeking to hire a student with excellent photography skills to cover occasional events and activities on campus. To apply, please submit a letter of interest and description of your photography experience to Shonda Pettiford at spettiford@honors.umass.edu by October 2. The selection committee will also request a portfolio. This is a paid position. Work-study preferred.
FREE PRESS INTERNSHIPS
Free Press has opportunities available for interns and volunteers. There are ongoing projects for their campaign and outreach teams, as well as the development and multimedia teams. Free Press internships require a 10-15 hour a week commitment, volunteer opportunities are more flexible. More Information.

This October marks the 25th Anniversary of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society about 192,370 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and there will be 40,170 women who will die from the fight against it. Every woman has a 1/8 chance of getting breast cancer and the chance from dying from breast cancer is 1/35. More Information.
