The Certificate Program in Native American Indian Studies (CPNAIS) offers students a structured understanding of historical and contemporary issues affecting the Western Hemisphere's First Nations. This Pizza and Prof will introduce students to several of the CPNAIS faculty members, their backgrounds, and their courses, which you may take even you if don't complete the CPNAIS.

Pizza Prof Tuesday, April 7:
Professor Barry Braun, Kinesiology "The company you keep; revisionist history, windy blather and lies" Don Quixote said "Tell me thy company, and I'll tell thee what thou art". The associations you have with a few key people are critical to learning the art of doing scientific research. Professor Braun will take you on a tour of the circuitous, sometimes illogical path of his 20 years in research, stopping to highlight the mentors (real and fictional) who taught him the important lessons in life. As Sancho Panza said to Don Quixote, "I sometimes think that all you tell me of knighthood, kingdoms, empires and islands is all windy blather and lies" The discussion begins at 6:30 and Sibbies pizza is served at 6:15.
The discussion will take place in the lounge outside of room 504 Goodell. Please RSVP pizzaprof@honors.umass.edu no later than Sunday, April 5th, 5 PM if you wish to attend either. Please specify in the subject of your e-mail which Pizza Prof you are RSVPing for.
