Documents for IMPACT! Students

Student Handbook
The handbook includes important information on the program, such as the program's history and goals, service partners, and events. Students should review the handbook at the beginning of the year and refer to it throughout the year as needed.

Service Contract
The service contract is an important document for students to complete at the beginning of the year. This provides students and opportunity to consider what type of work they will perform at their service site, as well as their learning objectives for their service. Students should complete the first half of the form and then deliver it (either via email or hard copy) to their service site supervisor. The site supervisor will then review the form, complete a section of it, and then return it to the instructor, or to the student who should give it to the instructor.

Service Log
Students are required to track their service hours each semester. Students can keep a sign-in sheet at the agency – many service sites have volunteer sign-in sheets already in place. Students should also keep a service log, either electronically or a hard copy. Students will be asked to submit their service logs at various points throughout the year.

Service Site Evaluation
At the end of the semester, students will be asked to evaluate their service sites. This information will be shared with service site supervisors in an effort to support, improve, and enhance our partnerships.
