COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING
Check out this booklet entitled, What the Budget Cuts Look Like on the Ground, created by the IMPACT! College Writing course (Fall 2009).
IMPACT! is a year-long service learning residential academic program for first-year Commonwealth College students. Students live together, study together, and serve together, creating a close-knit community. IMPACT! makes the transition to college easier and gives students more time to work on the issues they care about.
For the 2009-2010 school year, IMPACT! will be open to 24 students and will be located in the Orchard Hill residential area.
