How to apply

Applications for admission to the Citizen Scholars Program (CSP) for 2008-2009 are currently being accepted.

Application deadline:  Friday, March 28, 2008.
Applications submitted after this date will be reviewed if space in the program is still available.

ALL UMass Amherst undergraduates are eligible to apply who have:

  • at least four semesters remaining on campus
  • a commitment to community engagement and social justice
  • a strong academic record (typically demonstrated by a cumulative GPA of 3.2)

To apply, please complete and submit an application cover sheet with the required attachments as specified on the cover sheet.  Applicants are encouraged to review the program information contained in the CSP website and the program flyer.

Applicants who are being considered for admission will be contacted for an interview.

All applicants will be notified of admission decisions in April.
