Over the history of the program, decisions about curriculum, policies and procedures have been made by the program directors, program manager, and teaching staff with substantial input from students. Students can ask to have an issue placed on the agenda of the bi-weekly administrative meetings and can come to speak about it.
In addition, the program's monthly Evening Gatherings are often used for all members to join in collective thinking and communication about the program.
Citizen Scholars are encouraged to join a committee to share in program planning and implementation and to deepen their involvement and learning. Current committees include: Events and Admissions.
