The aim of the elective requirement is to give students a stronger foundation in social, political, or economic theory. Citizen Scholars may fulfill the elective requirement with ANY course from the approved list. Courses may be added to the list if they offer a strong engagement with social, political, or economic theory; students who want to propose another theory-based course for this requirement should contact the Program Manager for the appropriate form.
